A crack grows every time the glass flexes: over a speed bump, in the heat of a Queensland afternoon, when the air conditioning hits a hot screen. Injecting resin into the crack bonds the two faces of the break so it cannot run any further, and brings back the clarity of the glass.
When a crack can be repaired
Generally a crack shorter than a banknote, away from the edge of the windscreen and out of the driver’s direct view can be repaired. Longer cracks, edge cracks and anything in the sight line are safer replaced. A photo through the quote form is the quickest way to find out which yours is.
